Hey there Bellas, you’ve seen us rave about the beauty of balayage all over our Instagram so you know we are in love with this hair coloring technique! We’re here to tell you all about the benefits of this style and why you should be head over heels for it too!
What’s the difference between ombre and balayage?
Ombre is a hair coloring technique that gives a gradual to drastic change in color from dark to light. Balayage (which means to sweep in French) is a more subtle change from dark to light. The hair stylist literally uses sweeping motions to paint on the color to create a more natural sun-kissed look. Balayage is a wonderful technique because the results are low-maintenance and versatile!
